SUMMER IS HERE

My internship at Aravind will start in exactly one month. Flying out on March 29th, which is in abou 2.5 weeks. So much to get done before then! Here’s my list of things to do to help me keep track:
FOR INDIA
- Buy a travel book for India
- Research and email people about Rishikesh & Nainital to travel on my own, Mysore & Bangalore to travel with Sam, and Kerala to travel with my parents
- Book train tickets from Bangalore to Madurai
- Read Infinite Vision, a book about Aravind
- Learn Tamil #nothappening
- Have travel consultation—>get vaccinated
- Conduct preliminary research on summer project
- Chop off hair (?)
- Buy travel sack, hiking backpack, probiotics, comfortable sandals, and whatever necessities I’ll need
- Start travel blog for India!!
FOR FUNSIES
- My sister’s graduation
- Organize/donate clothes
- Visit UMCP/spend the night at Grace’s
- Hang out in DC at least once
- See all my high school friends
- Visit Centennial to thank my history professors for being so awesome and underappreciated
- Bake a key lime pie.
- Go strawberry picking!
- Make kale chips
- Learn to cook some Chinese dishes
- Try dosas at Mango Grove (to compare with those in India :P)
- Korean Fried Chicken at Bonchon if it opens in time
- Ice cream at Scoop Ah Dee Doo (new in Old Ellicott City)
- Chicken Rico in East Baltimore for Peruvian chicken
- Samos in East Baltimore with the parents for authentic Greek
- Compile summer reading list
- Exercise regularly to counterbalance all the food adventures
- Start journaling my thoughts so my friends don’t have to listen to them anymore :P
